About Robert Mattaliano

Live from the stage/my workspace

I specialize in development communications and also have broad experience in identity, enrollment marketing and media relations at institutional, school/college and departmental levels. I work in digital, print, video, social media and events and am available for short- and long-term projects. (A list of potential services is here.) Fees are on an hourly or project basis.

My higher education clients have included Columbia University Medical Center, Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts, Pace University School of Law, the University of Chicago, Drexel University and others. I’ve worked with agencies including eCity Interactive, EFK Group and Leibowitz and am a contributing writer on higher ed communications at Volt.

Prior to higher education, I managed print and digital content at Time Warner and Newsweek for corporate brands including Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, Ford, GlaxoSmithKline, Humane Society of the U.S. and Starbucks. I received a B.A. in humanities from the University of Chicago, have completed courses in social media at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and currently am earning an online certificate in digital marketing at the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.

I regularly attend higher education marketing conferences and will have an exhibit this November at the AMA Higher Education Marketing Symposium.

It's a tremendous privilege for me to collaborate to help advance teaching and research.

Robert has been an important asset to Pace University. He understands all of the areas where we have contact with constituents and donors, he works across all media and he uses market and audience research to be strategically informed.

We’ve partnered with him many times - he can work with you for a month, a quarter, a year, whatever you need.
